Nick Trot and Roger Farrelly, the shock Jocks off ROCK FM have the first entry in our Book of World Records as receiving the most complaints about a Radio Show from one person. Here's how it was reported in the Sunday News on Saint Paddy’s day this year.
Napier listener Kelly Watkins has rolled the Rock breakfast hosts Nick Trot and Roger Farrelly.
She has made numerous complaints to the broadcasting standards authority about skits by the pair of which 29 have been upheld.
On-air antics censured by the BSA include jokes about masturbation when discussing cloning, and references to sex lesbians and dildos when discussing a girl band.
Watkins made 67 complaints about the hosts to the BSA.
Twenty-one were upheld.
The BSA has fined Nick and Roger more than 30 times in the past two years.
Billboards promoting their Rock hard in the morning had to taken down after complaints.
One showed the pair in their pyjamas with strategically placed carrots. Another showed a dominatrix in a G-string standing over the pair.

On this day Evan Birchfield of Ross in the South Island of New Zealand got so pissed off with walking around a house to get to the pub, that he drove his centurion tank through it. It is claimed that this is the first time in peace time a tank has been driven through a house to remove it as an obstacle to get to the pub.
